CONCEPT ORIGINATORS
Bethany Turnage
I am one of the four originators of MT4D. I am a sophomore at ESUMS. My interests are science, math and sports. I play squash at Yale and softball at James HillHouse High School.
MT4D is such an important concept to me because of the social isolation that disabled people go through is unfair and diminishing. I would like to make the environment for disabled individuals comfortable and safe for all.
Tiana Walker
I am currently a junior enrolled at ESUMS High School. As team leader, I strive to keep our team "on point." Until MT4D, I was unaware of how capable I am of being this creative and intelligent. I am so proud of our team's accomplishments and the contacts we have made. I know people who use paratransit, and I know our app will help to change their lives for the better.
Through my high school career, I've played football, volleyball, cheerleading and ran track. I have also attended Community Action Agency of New Haven - Manage Your Future Program, which taught be about entrepreneurship.
Mikayla Osumah
I am one of MT4D's concept originators. I am currently a sophomore at ESUMS High School. I am interested in biochemistry, math and writing. For the past two years I've been playing softball for Hillhouse High School.
MT4D is important to me because I have personally experienced the struggles of people with disabilities. I was able to overcome these challenges, so I want to help users conquer and avoide future issues especially with something they rely heavily on.
Avron Young
I am so happy to be part of MT4D from the start. I am a sophomore at ESUMS and I never thought our class project would ever get this popular.
I have a relative that uses paratransit, and he has a hard time with it because he has to wait outside for his ride to come and I always thought he should be able to see when the van is coming close to his house.
In my free time, I enjoy playing football for Hillhouse High School,
